My advocacy toward autistic individuals having the option to learning how to drive was one of the biggest periods in my professional life where it told me of my own potential. This took years of self-determination and resilience I developed from this journey. Driving started for me as a challenge as there was not a lot of resources and trained driver rehab specialists in my state back in 2017-2018. I had to navigate it on my own with numerous help from family and friends. Once I obtained my license, numerous doors opened to me. Some doors led to me connecting more to my communities and creating this very website to embrace my advocacy. Other doors were more negative to my mental health that I had to exit for my own well-being. Having those dreams died and accepting what my talents really were and moving.
