Kentucky Autism Driving Resources

I could not find any noticeable driving schools, but I did find a bunch of non-school programs, which is better than not finding anything. Message or comment below if you know of a resource to add here. As always, thank you for using this resource and have a wonderful day!

Norton HealthCare 

 
They provide driving evaluations and training for drivers with disabilities and other conditions. To be part of their program, you need a physical referral with a current diagnosis and other medical history and current license.  Insurance also does not cover the fees of the assessments, so plan ahead.   
They have an updated assessing program.


Drivabilities 

Private owned business that specializes in OT and Driver Rehab services for people with disabilities and other conditions. Services include evaluations, on the road assessment of skills, family education, and adaptive vehicle needs. 

 
Kentucky Career Center 

Hosted by two certified driver rehab specialists, they provide various training including simulator use, clinical pre-driving evaluation, on the road training, and adaptive tech training. They also host a permit class for those taking the written test and get a chance to do the test at an official testing location.
