Minnesota Autism Driving Resources

Another state with few resources from what I could gather. I do recall using an Autism Society of Minnesota doing a presentation last year, so it is unfortunate that there is not much to get. Non-Driving Schools: 



Adaptive Experts  

This organization has licensed OT staff with driving instructor experience. They have experience working with most disability populations with comprehensive driver evaluation, and behind the wheel training. This school is also in North and South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.  
 

Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute 

Their driver rehab services include clinical and behind the wheel assessments to provide recommendations for next steps if driving or not. Autism along with other disabilities and conditions are mentioned on their website. Resources and brochures are included on the website as well.

Autism Spectrum and/or Mental Health Indicator Request Form 

This helps alerts officers about autism and if you do not want it later on, you can remove it.
