One of those states with little noticeable driving schools with rehab programs. At least, there are two noticeable non-school programs that do exist. Driving Schools: Nothing as I saw. Non-Driving Schools: Mississippi State University: T.K. Martin Center This center from the state university specializes in evaluation and training of people with disabilities who want to drive. One of the OT and certified driver rehab specialists, Eric Knox is a member of the ADED. No word on pricing, so you would have to contact Eric to obtain that information. Driving Independence Owned by OT and driver rahab specialist Nikki Simmons, Driving Independence provides driver services for those with neurological disorders. Their services include both clinical and behind the wheel evaluation, driver training, and driver equipment tech training. Location wise, they provide these services in the northern side of the state and even tackle nearby states like West Tennessee and East Arkansas. Initiatives: Disability identification Card Proof of disability and used to get certain services, program, and/or activities. Also can be added to one’s ID card.
